Wall Monogram

I have recently painted one of our entrances, and I had been looking for something for one of the walls. I found this great wall monogram on Etsy by JKVinyl designs, they were so great to work with. Every sample I wanted, and every question that I had was no problem at all for them!! Once I placed my order, I had the monogram in almost a week! I was able to chose the size and the colors. I am so happy with the finished product!

The picture above is with the light off.

And this picture above is with the light on, so the wall color looks a little different in the two pictures, but this picture above is most like the actual color.

So if you are interested in a wall monogram I would really recommend JKVinyl designs. By the way I thought the prices were very reasonable, especially when you compare it to a picture or wall art.

Today I am so thankful that the Lord loves me enough to lay down His life for me!!

Hair Results

Here are the results of my hair appointment. I really appreciate all of your votes to help me decide on what I wanted to do with my regrowth. I decided that I wanted it all to blend together, and not see any regrowth. Yet, I did not want to go much lighter at my roots. So my wonderful hairstylist put in a few lowlights and also touched up my highlights, and that made it look like new again!! It made everything blend together so that I won't even notice the regrowth as much since the lowlights are closer to my natural color. I was very happy with the results. Below are a few snapshots, of course I'm sporting my ponytail. I am weird when it comes to having my hair down, it always seems to bother me and get in my face!!

Shoulders

I want to say thank you to Shoulders, and the ministry that they have. I was so blessed today when I checked my blog. I had quite a bit of new comments on my last post (and everyone loves comments), and I was so shocked to see that I was featured on Shoulders. I had not known too much about the Shoulders ministry until today. It is the most wonderful, selfless, and caring blog that I have came across. I would love it if you would go over to Shoulders and see for yourself. The first post on Shoulders tells you about the mission of the blog. It helps me to reevaluate my life, and my care for others.

It is a blessing to me today that people have such a caring heart!

I need YOUR help...

...should I touch up my roots completely at my hair appointment tomorrow, or should I leave a little bit of my natural color at my roots? I am so undecided. I don't mind the look of a little bit of natural color at the roots, but then I also don't mind all the roots dyed (as long as they are not too light). I would really like your help. As you can see in the picture above, I have regrowth! So you can see my natural color, and also my fake color. So what do you think I should do? My appointment is tomorrow morning, so I would really appreciate your help before then!!! I know I can count on all of you fabulous, stylin' ladies!!!

Place your vote on the top of my sidebar with what you think I should do!!

Happy Birthday to you!!

Happy one day belated Birthday to my wonderful Hubby!! He is now 25 years old. His birthday was yesterday, November 13. We celebrated after work by going to Red Lobster! Yum Yum!! It was so delicious. We had a nice dinner together. It's hard to believe that I have been in love with this man since I was 13 years old!! I am so in love with him. I strive to be a better wife to him everyday, he deserves so much more than I give him. He is caring, and very sensitive to my needs, he loves me unconditionally, he makes me laugh like no one else, he eats my dinner's (he deserves an award for that), he never complains about what I pack in his lunch, he is wonderful!

It's really cool because our Birthday's are 2 days apart from each other, so tomorrow we get to celebrate my Birthday. Can anyone guess how old I'm turning? :) (That might not be such a good idea, lol.) My wonderful sister invited us over for lunch tomorrow to celebrate our birthday's, she is a great cook, so I am excited to see what she has prepared.

Today I feel blessed to have a healthy, happy, and very ambitious husband who loves me for me.

Upcoming Wedding

On Wednesday night November 11, 2009 hubby's brother, Aaron, asked his girlfriend to marry him!!! They were so excited. She called me to tell me the good news, and I was so shocked, and so happy for them. They are so perfect for each other. It takes a brave woman to marry one of those guys!! Totally kidding, just couldn't resist the stab at em!! I know that nobody who knows me has any clue about my blog, but I had to share this with all of my blogger friends, and I am sure I will like to have this memory captured to look back on. The picture above is taken just a short while after he proposed!!

Love, Love, Love awards!!

Ashley over at For the Love of Shoes...and a baby, too gave me this great award!! Love her blog, go on over a give her some support!!

The directions are to post the award on your site, write 10 interesting things about yourself, and then pass it on to 10 other bloggers.

Ten interesting things about myself:

1. I got married at 18!! AHHH!! Right!

2. I cannot stand when my house is unorganized/messy or dirty. I drives me insane. I am definitely a clean freak.

3. I can never go into a store and spend the amount that I was going to or supposed to spend. I always go over! I am trying to get better at this.

4. When I was 7 our house burned completely to the ground. Something I would never wish on anyone. It was horrible.

5. Sometimes I think I love my hubby too much.

6. I am trying to get back into cutting out coupons, and saving lots of money doing so.

7. I love to paint, just because I like the end result.

8. I am currently trying to replace all my cheap, ugly blinds throughout my house with Faux wood blinds. I have one room done, hopefully I can get more rooms done before the holiday's.

9. I hate to cook or garden!!

10. I am really not at all interesting. I had to think so hard for the ones I came up with, so sad!! I hope you enjoyed getting to know me better.

I nominate anyone who would want to share more about themselves!! I would love to find out more about your interesting self!!

Ovulation?!

If you have been reading my blog for a while you will know that I have problems ovulating. I have not been to any doctor or OBGYN since they could no longer help us at our local women's health center. So I have absolutely no idea if I am ovulating now, or if my progesterone levels have gone up consistently. I am pretty sure that they have gone up since I've been using the Progesterone Cream (which I started to use after we were done at our Clinic) but is it enough to ovulate? I was wondering if any of you have ever tried using an Ovulation Predictor Kit? I have wanted to try one for a few months now, so I thought I would get advice from the best support group ever. You ladies!! Are they accurate? Any certain brand you would recommend?

I would also love to hear from anyone who is struggling with ovulation problems, and what you are doing about it. Feel free to e-mail me @ loriweaver86@yahoo.com if you do not feel comfortable leaving a comment. I would love to hear from you, and I would love your help with this.

I'm not sure if it's the Holiday's coming up or my Hubby's busy schedule sneaking up on me, but I have been having a hard time with our infertility. I wish it would get easier, not more difficult. With each month that passes I feel like I am sinking further into this pit of darkness, despair, and heartache. It seems I always think about our infertility the most at night, when I am lying in bed not being able to sleep. Some nights are horrible, I feel so useless, and out of control. I know that I have to let God carry my burden's but that doesn't automatically make me stop thinking or caring about this. It helps a lot when I keep myself busy with things I like to do, and also it helps to read all my friends blogs!! It seems that I can go a few days or a given amount of time doing great, loving life, trying to embrace every moment of my NOW. Then the next minute I am like a crazy woman! My poor, poor hubby. All it can take for this to happen is to see a mommy not even care about her screaming infant, or a child getting yelled at with no reason for it all, etc. Then I feel even worse because all the effort it took for me to have my good days was just crushed and meaningless it seems. Guess what happens then? It starts all over again.

Today I pray for an obedient heart, and a calm spirit. I pray that I will be a good mommy when my time comes. I pray for peace to all my blogger ladies going through this journey as well.

I have many blessing in my life, I need to do better at recognizing them.

Finally...A Clean House!!!

Last week, I finally had some time to do things on my to-do list!! I was so excited by the time the week was over, I felt like I got so much done. Usually on my days off I have appointments or babysitting, it seems like there is always something in the way of me being at home getting lots of things done. First of all I did my laundry and ironing for the week, then I started my cleaning. I cleaned my whole house, most weeks I will do a quick cleaning, if I get to it at all! But last week I did a thorough cleaning, and I also rearranged our living room, and organized things here and there that needed tending too. I even managed to make a dessert for us! I was loving every minute of it. It's days like this, that make it hard to wait on my dream of being a stay at home mommy. Below I have some pictures of my home.

This is our breakfast area, in our kitchen, that goes out to the back deck. I love our little table. My mom-n-law found it at our local thrift store for $5!!! It fits perfectly in our kitchen. I am a big fan of place mats. I found these at a garage sale, the chair cushions I also found at a garage sale. My chairs were given to us by my mom-n-law. The fall centerpiece is just plastic leaves, twigs and a vase, I think I found all of those things at Pat Catan's. So there is where have my cereal every morning wishing I was still in bed!!

Above is our serving table in our Dining Room. We found the serving table and our china cabinet (not pictured) at a thrift store for a steal! I was so happy when we found the set.

Above is our Dining Room table, with place mats, of course! I found those last year at Wal-Mart after Thanksgiving for $1 each, I grabbed those so fast. They have a leaf design. I usually have a candle burning in the candle holder but I am out of candles right now. So I just threw some pine cones in the candle holder for now. Hopefully I can find a great smelling candle this week! I would love to hear of any fall favorites.
Now for the Living room. This is where we spend a lot of our time.

I usually sit in the brown rocker and my hubby sits in the recliner. I bought that recliner for my hubby a long time ago for Valentine's Day. Our living room is small, I had to take out our 2 end tables because they just do not fit, and I would rather have my rocker in the living room than one of the end tables. My hubby picked out the paint color in here. I was really impressed with the way it turned out. I really like primitive decorations, and a warm, cozy home. So the color really helped with the warm feel to the living room. Way to go Honey!
As you can see above, the picture above our couch is off center. When we moved in I had our couch moved over to the left so the picture was right in the middle, but since then I have moved things around and now it's not in the center anymore. The thing is, we have plaster walls, and it is not easy to move a picture. Whenever you hang something, the wall chips a lot around where you put the nail in. So I thought I will just leave it where it is rather than go through all that trouble to touch up the wall after I move the picture. What do you think? Does it look terrible being off center or do you think that it looks ok as is? My aunt found me the window valence at a thrift store. It turned out great.

I don't think I have ever shown any pictures of our Wedding, so I decided to zoom in on this picture we have in our living room. It gives you a little bit of an idea what our day was like. Sometime I will try to get more wedding photos posted. Sorry about the flash.

I hope you enjoyed the small tour of our home. We are so thankful for it!
