Taking a break

We are officially taking a break from "trying" to have a baby. We found out on Monday that our last cycle on clomid did not work. So we are taking a break until this fall or who know maybe even until next year. I am going to do a few natural things, nothing invasive. We are just going to take it easy. The stress from the last 3-4 months has been making me literally sick. I think its from all the different pills and the clomid. I want to feel normal again, I have been tired all the time and have had a bad sore throat twice in the last 3 months. So I have a feeling I need to sit back and relax. My hubby's favorite word for me is "RELAX." That word makes me want to scream, but I must admit it would do me good.

We have had lots going on, my sister who is due in August, started to go into labor on Sunday night. They were able to stop it and she is supposed to rest until Monday, she has 3 kids so that is a true test. We have been helping her out as much as possible. My sister-in-law, who is due in July, had been down with the most horrible respiratory infection. She was very sick. So the 2 pregnant gals have been having a hard time with there pregnancies. I just hope and pray that both can wait until closer to there dates to deliver these babies!

I hope all my readers forgive me for not posting sooner about my results, but I just could not do it. I had no desire to do anything on my computer this whole week. I had tons of e-mails and lots of posts that I missed. I worked, helped my sister and cleaned my house! That basically consisted of my week. I hope and pray that my mood starts getting back to normal and my body starts feeling better.

Tonight is movie night with my little sister! "The Proposal" maybe!!! I can't wait.

Answer to a question

I was asked the question: Since My levels did go up this month on Clomid, but if it does not lead to pregnancy will they give me another round of Clomid?

I am wondering the same thing! Because it would only make sense to go up to 200MG and see if that does the trick. My doctor did say that she never goes beyond 200MG and never more than 6 months on Clomid in a lifetime. So I will definitely be asking her that question on Monday if we are not pregnant this month. We were going to hold off on going to the larger fertility clinic in Beechwood, OH anyway if this month does not work. So why not stay with our current clinic for another try on Clomid. Even though Clomid makes me turn into a witch!!

Thank You Kendra for your question!!

Thank you all for your very sweet and encouraging comments they mean the world to me!!

Today I am thankful to have the day off!!!!

Progesterone Level Results

So work could not go any slower today! I was dying to get home and call my doctor's office about my results. So as Kevin sits on the counter, I dial the number. I got a very nice nurse to talk to and she gave me the results. My progesterone levels for this month are 2.0! I almost dropped the phone! You mean no more 0.7 levels!!! She did say that it is still very low, almost to low to call ovulatory. But she also said that maybe it was to early to get my levels at there peak. That sentence made me really happy! So on Monday I will go in and take a pregnancy test, and have our follow-up appointment. The follow-up appointment could be about the pregnancy or about the infertility. Talk about me being impatient, I cannot even imagine how Mimi feels about waiting for her first ultrasound. Thank you all for wishing, hoping and praying right along with us. No words can describe how amazing that is!

Today I am thankful for hope!

Progesterone Results Tomorrow

Wow, I am so scared!! Tomorrow I will call my doctors office to get my results from my progesterone levels for our LAST month on Clomid. I never want to call. It's better for me to have that hope than to call and find out the worst results ever. I am trying so hard to have faith and be strong, but as those of you who are going through infertility know that is very hard to do when all you have ever heard is low levels or negatives.

Positive?

What really does that word mean?

To me it means JOY, LOVE, THANKFULNESS, NEW LIFE, FINALLY, MIRACLE.

What does the word "positive" mean to you?

Outer Banks Vacation...

...is almost over. Big sad Sigh. We have been having lots of fun. I have not been taking a lot of pictures. We have been going to the beach every day so far, so I did not want to get sand in my camera. Today is the first day that it has been dreary. We might go out to the beach today yet. We are here with Kevin's family and a few of his brothers buddies. We are all staying in the same house, its a pretty big house very close to the beach. Today will be packing up to go home day. We will leave first thing in the morning. Then its back to work. It has been so nice to get a break from work, we have been so busy and I have been training in two new girls, so it gets a little bit stressful. I have been trying to take it all in, I have been sleeping in every morning. I have been trying not to think about our infertility. But I am getting so anxious to find out the results that I have started to think about it a lot. And I am feeling sad, because I really would be shocked if it would work. I am going in on Monday to have my progesterone levels checked. Please pray for high levels. I just want to be a mom so bad, and it seems the months have just been dragging by with the same results. Negatives! So the day I see a positive will be the day I know I am carrying our miracle! Below are some pictures from our vacation!! Enjoy!

Kevin's cousin Kelsey and me!

Bowling Night!

As you can see they are having way to much fun!

Today I feel blessed to have had a safe vacation so far, and also for wonderful weather!
