Appointment Rescheduled

Yesterday I was supposed to travel to Indiana for my follow up appointment with the Doctor I had seen in January, you can read about that here. I cancelled the appointment because of bad weather, the roads were still pretty bad and we would have had to leave at 4am. So we rescheduled for March 4th. I did have a chance to talk to the Doctor, I told him that I was still have my 15 day cycles. He told me that maybe my uterus muscles were not as strong as he thought, which meant if that is true my uterus could have shifted back to the old position. I did tell him about the small changes I have seen in my cycle, and then I asked him if it is even possible to get pregnant with a 15 day cycle. He told me most definitely. It should happen towards the middle of the cycle, and that all depends on if I am ovulating.

Today I was texting a friend who is also going through infertility, and she said that someone told her that if you start progesterone cream on CD 5 it makes so you don't ovulate. I have been starting my progesterone cream on CD 5!! I was told by the company to start it on CD 5. So I am not taking any chances, I am quiting my progesterone cream completely. I am almost at the end of my cycle, again. HA! 2 weeks goes by way too fast. So hopefully my body can regulate on it's own. I guess we will see soon enough. If I see changes for the worse, I will probably start taking it again, but not until I would call the company and explain the situation. Plus I am ready for a break from the cream, I just want to see what my body can do!!

My ticker reads 1 month 3weeks 5 days until our infertility consultation! I remember when I applied that ticker, and it was at 6 months! Time does fly by, even when it feels like its dragging!

Right now I am thinking:

"What will be happening in 1month 3weeks and 5days?"

Will I be pregnant?

Will I still not be pregnant?

Will I have regular cycles?

Will I be at peace?

Will some of my friends who are struggling as well, be pregnant?

Will we be told that I am still not ovulating?

Will I be told that we need lots of help?

Will I be told we will be pregnant in no time at all? If so, will I believe them?

Could this be the year that we finally receive our blessing?

Unexpected Appointment...

I totally intended to blog about the unexpected trip that came up this week, but after my one hour massage on Monday there was no way I could even lift my laptop! I was so relaxed. It was so nice that it was in my own home, so I could just crash after the massage was done.

So onto the "unexpected trip"...

I just recently found out that a childhood friend of mine is also going through infertility. We live in the same area, and I had no clue. More and more it surprises me who is also going through this journey. She found out about this doctor in Indiana who had helped a lot of infertile women conceive!! He says that is has everything to do with your uterus, and most women who are unable to conceive just need there uterus adjusted. For example, some uterus' are not in the right place, or they are laying on there side, etc. I know, it sounds cruel, but I am up for anything! So this childhood friend calls me up and wonders if I would like to go along, she has 4 appointments for THIS THURSDAY, which by the way, is TOMORROW!!

I was very hesitant at first, but I thought what is there to lose? Nothing!! Let's just say, the price for the appointment would make anyone want to go. So I told her I would go, and I am going to be the one driving. My mom decided to go as well, I guess this doctor also does other kind of treatments. I am glad that my mom decided to go along, I think I will need the moral support! Who knows how this place will be. The nice thing is that he will know right away if he is able to help me. I am just so anxious to see what the place is like, and mostly if he will be able to help me. I am going to take all my records, and I want to show him the progesterone cream that I am using to get his opinion on it.

Its going to be about a 4 1/2 hour drive, so get this, I need to leave my house at 3:35a.m. Yeah, you read that right! I think I am going to try to go to bed at like 8pm tonight, but I know that I will be so anxious that I won't be able to sleep.

My hubby is not too sure about this, and really I do not blame him. I guess I am more of a risk taker, and in this situation there is not much too lose. I wish you were all on my way, because I would pick up any one of you ladies that would like to go! How fun would that be, a car full of women going through infertility, no one would mess with us!! We would have the best trip. I mean, we would have lots to talk about! Right!! HA!

I pray that it will be a productive trip, I pray that I will get some more answers, I pray that it will be a safe trip!!

I will do a post on Friday to let you know if I survived!!

I would really appreciate your prayers.

Let's Raise Some Progesterone Levels!

This post is for all ladies going through infertility who want to raise, or who NEED to raise there progesterone levels to get pregnant.

After we started our break from professional help for our infertility, I started to use this natural progesterone cream that my Mom told me about. It is from Heartland Products, Inc. I've been using this cream for about 3 months or so now, and I have been so confused on how to use it and when to use it. I had seen a major difference in my hair growth (like around my upper lip, sides of my face, etc.) and also I've been able to keep off the little amount of weight that I had lost. Before the cream that would have been impossible. I was supposed to take the cream twice a day on CD 10-28, but I would always start bleeding/spotting around CD 15. Then I was not sure if I should count that as CD1 or keep counting till CD 28. So finally today I called the toll free helpline number on the brochure I had. The lady that I spoke with was wonderful. I explained to her my whole situation, and that I was using the cream to get pregnant and raise my progesterone levels. She said that it is normal to start bleeding in the middle of your cycle for the first couple of months using the cream, because your body is getting rid of all your extra estrogen. She told me that since I am trying to get pregnant that I am supposed to use the cream starting on CD 5 and stop using the cream on CD 26. If I start to bleed very heavy in the middle of my cycle then I should quit the cream and count that as CD 1. If the bleeding is minimal I should just keep using the cream until CD 26. I also asked her that if I would get pregnant should I still take the cream? She said that it is very important to keep taking the cream, only if you use the cream prior to pregnancy, until one week prior to your due date then quit the cream. I know lots of you going through infertility have issues with your progesterone levels. I am going to try this starting now, and I could not keep this to myself. I would recommend that you visit the company's website or call the company to get more information on the product before you start using it. They have a great brochure and a wonderful hotline. I am so excited to see if this will work since I am changing the days that I am taking the cream. I was thinking that this might also be able to help some of you!! I buy the cream at a local Health food store and it costs around $20 which last me about one month. It is very inexpensive and it has helped me already with a lot of the symptoms due to having low progesterone levels. I would love to hear from you by e-mail or comment form if you have the same or similar problem with your progesterone levels. I guess we will see soon enough if this will work for me! Maybe we won't have to go to our infertility consultation after all:)!!!!!
