Baby Shower Number 2!!!

On Monday night I had my 2nd Baby Shower, given by my family!

My sisters put together this amazing diaper cake!! That little lamb on top is so precious!! I have it in her crib! Below that is the most adorable onesie, it says "Baby's first Easter!" Also on the cake were cute little pink Converse shoes, car seat toys, bows, paci's, bear blanket (on back), socks, receiving blankets and much more!

Me and one of the hosts, my sister! All of my brothers, sisters, and brother's girlfriend went together and bought us the car seat/stroller combo!!! I was so excited about that!! Now me and hubby just need to get it put together, and of course, get the car seat in the car ready to go!! My Grandparents got us the swing that we wanted!! I am still so thrilled that we got these items!!

Everything was so amazing...the food, the fun, and visiting with family!!

One of the funniest things of the whole night was my little nephew (1 1/2 yrs. old), he saw my belly and he was sure there was a ball in there!! He just kept saying "Ball" and pointing/touching my belly!! It was so priceless!!! I cannot wait to see how him and my other little nephew will react to the baby!
I got a lot of things that I was still needing so I have been busy packing my hospital bags, organizing, and finishing up her Nursery!! The changing center should arrive tomorrow!!!

Baby Shower Number 1!!

Today was my first baby shower!! Hubby's Mom threw the shower for us, along with the help of his sister in laws and Grandma! I was so excited for this day to finally arrive! When I got there and saw all the pink baby stuff, I just still could not believe that this shower was for me. I am having a baby...and soon! Thank you Lord!!

My hubby's Grandma made the cakes! She is the best cake maker around!! I thought these both turned out so fabulous, Oh and they tasted AMAZING!! Chocolate, my favorite!!

One of hubby's sister in law's made this beautiful diaper cake! I was blown away at what a great job she did!

Hubby's Aunt also made a diaper cake! I cannot believe I got two!! I was so happy about that! You should just see how much stuff she fit into this diaper cake!! Here are just some of the items I found in the cake: socks, spoons, onesies, baby wash, pacifiers, desitin, bibs, toys, doll, sleeper and a few other things as well!! Very creative!

I was blessed with so many amazing gifts! Lets just say Savannah's wardrobe has expanded a lot!!! She was blessed with a TON of clothes today! Here are just a few pictures of some things we got! I would love to show you everything but that would take quite a while!

A few other items we received were a Jogging stroller, baby monitors, diapers, towels and wash clothes, blankets, hats, bottles, bibs, bows, picture frame, handmade hat with blanket (so soft), shoes, onesies and a whole bunch of other things too!!

Shower Number 2 is coming soon!!! I cannot wait to organize all my things for Savannah!! I feel so much more prepared just after today! I am having some contractions this evening, maybe it's from all the excitement from today!!

Today I feel so Blessed to have so many friends and family support us with our soon to arrive little girl!!

Our Little Blessing at 32 Weeks and 4 Days!

How far along? 33 Weeks

Baby's size and stats? Savannah should weigh a little over 4 pounds now, and should be past the 17" mark. WOW. She is growing. I remember like it was just yesterday when she was only the size of a bean!! Amazing!

Gain? Last I was at the Dr. I had gained 6 pounds in 2 weeks! Yeah, you heard that right. I am hoping some if it was water weight, because I have started to swell so bad. So I would be up 24 pounds.

Maternity clothes? Yes, all maternity basically. I have started to feel like I wear the same thing over and over! Only a few weeks to go!

Sleep? Sleep has still been better ever since I got that amazing pillow. I get up about 3-4 times to pee, so that has gotten a little better. I think it's because I am sleeping so much better.

Foods I am loving? This week salads have tasted so good! And Milk as always. Oh, I can't forget the Milkshakes too!

Foods I am hating? Same: Plain Chicken, turkey, ham. Also, salty meals didn't appeal to me to much this past week.

Best moment this week? Getting out of the Hospital! Post on that to follow.

Movement? Her movements have been so strong. One new thing I have noticed this week is her having hiccups! Too cute! But I always feel so bad for her when she's having them, because I know how I hate to have them! Poor Savannah!

Symptoms? 1. Swelling in my ankles, legs and now my hands.

2. Pre term labor scare. We really thought Savannah was going to be born this week. Post on that to follow, hoping sometime today.

3. Feeling very fearful of having birth. I know I am a huge baby! But after this week, it got me scared! I just want her here!

4. Feeling faint and nauseated some days.

Gender? A GIRL...Our Sweet Savannah

What I'm looking forward to? My showers coming so soon!!

Milestones: Being at the point where I feel like she could arrive at any minute, no matter if I have everything prepared or now! Which by the way, I do not!

These pictures were taken Wednesday morning before work 1.19.11. Later that day I was in the Hospital. I had every intention of posting my 33 week update that day.

Today I feel so blessed that Savannah is still snug in my belly! Our goal is to make to to 35 weeks! Which leaves us with 1 Week and 3 Days!

I Need your ideas

I, along with my Mom and sister, am hosting a baby shower for my new little nephew. I am in charge of baby shower games. I have done games before, but my mind seems to be totally blank when it comes to planning the games. If you have any games that you wouldn't mind sharing I would be very happy to hear from you! ANY ideas would help.

I'll make sure to post about how the shower went. It is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 21. I am attempting a diaper cake, any tips on that would be greatly appreciated as well! I will let you know how it turns out!!
