1. Savannah is behaving already!! On Sunday I was just about ready to get Savannah into the car, but I had to get my shoes on yet. So I stood Savannah by the desk and told her to wait right here and Momma will be right back. My hubby and I got a huge kick out of her! She stood just like that until I came and picked her up again!! Cutest thing ever!

2. I am totally claiming my hubby's Christmas gift from my parents! Do you think he will mind? :) I will say the Kindle Fire is so amazing!! Its so easy to use, and it works great to keep Savannah entertained!!! I have been spoiling her big time! At mealtimes I will play Baby Einstein videos for her, you guessed it, she does not move and eats great!! Now that's what I call LOVE!!

3. I absolutely cannot wait for tonight!! Hubby and I have been on a diet, and tonight is cheat night!! I have been dreaming about pizza for days now, and tonight is the night! I think we will add some wings too, just to make the night even better! On top of that we will catch up on DVR, which includes our favorite show, Revenge!! Now that's what I call an amazing date night, because we get to do all that and still be home with our beautiful little girl!!

Baby Shoes

I remember when I was wanting a baby of our own so badly, one of the things I would always look at was baby shoes! They always were just the cutest thing ever to me!!! There were days that I never thought I would have a baby of my own to wear cute little shoes on, but I was so wrong, now I have been so Blessed with a little one of my own!! 

Savannah's Aunts and Uncles went together and got her some very cute gifts for Christmas, and one of those was a pair of Nike's!! Lets just say they are the most adorable little things ever!! They make my baby look even more grown up than she was before!! 

Yep, she is now walking behind her little walker!! I'm sure the shoes helped, I mean look at her she's totally ready to go with her new kicks!

2012 Party

We got together with my extended family for New Years/Christmas on New Years Day! We had a ton of fun, and it was so unreal to me that last year Savannah was still in my tummy!!!! Now she is here and seems so grown up already! Its amazing what one year can do!!

This was me at 31 weeks, one year ago!!!!

Now a year later here is my precious little baby!!! 

Savannah was really into her gift this time. I think she was catching on as to what is under that wrapping!! Something for her! She just sat on hubby's lap the whole time, and would just look and help a little with the unwrapping. 

Yep, it only took her about 1 minute to figure out a way to climb her toy!

Too cute, and its amazing how smart she is at 10 months old!

Savannah's 1st Christmas

We spent the majority of Christmas Day with my Hubby's family. We always have a great Breakfast, and since this year we had Church in the morning we had Breakfast for Lunch. We did not go to Church due to my Hubby just not feeling up to it. After our delicious meal, it was time for gifts! Savannah is already finding one of her gifts to climb!

Savannah was such a happy girl, but she did not nap! She was so tired, but still happy!

Hubby was not feeling well at all the whole day, I felt so horrible for him. So at about 4pm we left for home, and of course Little Miss was zonked out when we got home! I even got her out of her car seat and laid her in bed with hubby, she didn't even think about waking up! That is so unlike her, which tells me she had an exhausting weekend!!

Santa's Little Helper is worn out!! :)

 I didn't want her to sleep too long because I knew if she did it would totally mess up her bedtime!! So she slept for about 45 minutes, and then she was up and playing with all her new toys!!! She just loves all her new toys, really she does, even if her toy of choice is the VCR remote!!! Really!! :)

We had a great Christmas weekend, and we just felt so Blessed to have a happy, healthy baby girl! She made this Christmas very special!!

Savannah's 1st Christmas Eve

I was so anxious for Christmas this year! For so many years I would dream of the day that I would have a child of my own to celebrate this special Holiday with. I had so many expectations as to how special this child would make the Holidays, really how the child would just make every day so much more special. I will say this year I have been blown away as to how much joy our little one has brought to us. She is the light of our lives and gave us so much to be thankful for this Holiday season.

As I was thinking those thoughts so many times throughout the past year, once Christmas came I was so humbled by the thought of Celebrating Jesus' Birthday. I want to teach Savannah at a young age what the REAL meaning of Christmas is, and how blessed we are that Jesus is our Hope and our Saviour!

Savannah really was just a total doll baby throughout the Holidays. She did miss a few naps that kind of messed up her routine, but she was a trooper. We celebrated Christmas Eve with my family. We usually go out to an early Dinner and then go back to my parents house to celebrate. Before Savannah we would stay the night at there house, but we chose not to this year. We will probably start that again once Savannah is a little older. 

By Christmas this year Savannah was just over 10 months old. She has her two bottom teeth and has been teething horribly. She also says Mama all the time, and Dada sometimes. 

It was so much better to give than to receive, especially to our sweet little girl!! I must say the cutest gift we purchased for her are the adorable fur boots she is wearing! They are so stinkin' cute!! Those boots with leggings are one reason I can handle the cold weather!!

A little over a week before Christmas my hubby had his 2nd knee surgery since November. He had his patellae tendon repaired on both knees. Well the last surgery went well, but he developed a blood clot in his calf, so he was admitted into the Hospital on Monday before Christmas. I was so thankful that he was ok, but at the same time I started freaking out because before I knew it he was still in the Hospital the day before Christmas Eve!!! Thankfully he was released on Christmas Eve. 

It was sad not having him home at all the week of Christmas, but it all worked out and I was so happy he made it home for Christmas. He was having pain, so that made him not be able to enjoy all the festivities quite as much. I am actually thankful that it was Savannah's 1st Christmas that this happened, because she really didn't have a clue as to what was going on...

...although she was having the time of her life climbing onto all the boxes that come along with the Holidays!! See below...

...yes she managed to get that box over there all by herself! We have realized her favorite things to do are pushing boxes and climbing on boxes!

She did so well with opening her gifts on Christmas Eve, here is her 1st present that Daddy helped her open. It was too cute because everyone was helping Savannah open her 1st present. All her little cousins were sitting all around her with the biggest smiles, it was so precious and heartwarming to see the love they have for her!!

Friday Fun Random Facts

1. My sweet girl totally HATES the nasal respirator, and I totally don't blame her!!!

2. After almost 7 years of marriage, we have gone through 3 sets of sheets! I use them until they tear, and they are washed once a week in hot water so that probably shortens there life. Anyone else agree they are ridiculously overpriced, especially since they end up tearing??? I will say that I was very happy with the deal I got today, I ended up getting $120 sheets for $40, LOVE the sales that are going on right now!!! I ended up getting the sheets below!!

3. Savannah thinks she can conquer the world by all the climbing she's been doing!!! Can you say ADORABLE, or wait maybe exhausting (for Me) HA!!!!!

Santa Baby

Savannah doesn't look like a "Santa Baby" this year!! I prefer her to be "Momma's baby" anyways! So it all worked out!! :)

Savannah Is 10 Months Old-December 18

You are now in the double digits!! Unreal! I cannot fully comprehend that you are getting so big, and that you are doing all these "big girl" things! You had your 9 months well check last week so here are your latest stats:

Weight:; 17lbs 6oz

Length: 28 inches

-You are still in size 2 diapers, we tried size 3 but they are just too big!

-Right around your 10 months birthday you started saying "Mama" and it just melts my heart! You say it so often now, at first it was only when you were tired, but now its happening a lot more! 

-I thought you said "Quack, Quack" the other night while you were taking your bath! You have a ducky tub, and I always tell you about your ducky going "Quack, Quack" and you seemed to repeat me!

-It's times like those that make it so hard to believe that my baby is actually so smart already!

-You love to get into everything you shouldn't! Especially the fridge and the toilet! 

-The cutest thing that you have done is when you pick up something small that you shouldn't have, and you know that I am watching you, you will put it into your mouth as quickly as possible and then take off crawling away from me as fast as you can!!

-You still love to dance! The song that always gets you movin' is "Country Girl Shake it for me." 

-Your sleep has been very good. About 90% of the time you sleep straight through the night, usually right around 12 hours. If you do wake up through the night, I will get you a bottle and rock you back to sleep. You have been waking up when I lay you back in your crib, but you will put yourself back to sleep on your own when I leave the room. You just started this, and I am so in love!! I thought I would try it this past month, and you just talked to yourself for a bit and before I knew it you were totally quiet and sound asleep! I would never let you cry without getting you so I was beyond thrilled that you took to it so well!!!!
