Carpets are Clean!!

I am so happy with the way that my carpets cleaned! They cleaned so nicely. All of the stains came out!! It smells and looks so clean.

Before the carpet cleaners came on Monday morning, I quickly spring cleaned my Dining Room and small hallway (I have already spring cleaned my kitchen). Everything was out of those rooms so I thought it would be pointless not to take advantage of that and spring clean! It didn't even take me that long. I took down all the pictures, washed off the walls and the ceiling, cleaned the lights, etc. It smelled so clean!! I felt great about what I got accomplished before 9am!

After carpets were cleaned. You can't see that much of a difference in the Dining Room, but it just looks so much lighter.

I was and am in shock! I love it. It does not feel like it's always dirty in the kitchen now. The spot by the fridge is water, our fridge was leaking water and I had no idea. So now there is a spot there from the leak, I think that we might have to have the carpet cleaners come back to do just that spot. I was so disappointed. I think we moved the fridge around to much, because the water line started to drip water where it connects into the back of the fridge.



Later that day, I finished my Spring cleaning in these rooms.

I cleaned out my China hutch. I hadn't done that in 2 years! It was dusty. Now it sparkles!

I feel so blessed to have the energy to clean my house and that I like to clean!!

Lori's Kitchen Project-Sneak Peak

I thought I would give all my readers a sneak peak into my Kitchen project reveal with some before and afters!! I was able to finish so much of my project this week. The work in the kitchen is all done, I am working on finishing up the drawers and the doors that I have in my basement. So with the work in the kitchen completed, I decided to spring clean it while I have everything out anyways! Let me tell you, when I walk into my kitchen now it feels like a breath of fresh air!! I am in love, and it doesn't even have any doors yet!! I will go into more detail later, but for now I just want you to imagine my freshly spring cleaned kitchen, with fresh new paint on the cupboards, the windows open with a fresh spring breeze blowing in, the smell of Spring in the air and of course music playing in the background...wait... you don't need to imagine you can have a glimpse!!

Wasn't it just a breath of fresh air?

I love my new kitchen so much, it feels so much brighter, so much cleaner and so much more updated!! I can't imagine how I will react once it's all done, which will hopefully be by next week.

Today I feel so blessed that the paint color turned out to be perfect for me. I was SO worried about that.

Special Delivery!

This afternoon we will have a special delivery! You might laugh when you see what it is, but it is greatly needed. We are so excited about it, we've been married for almost 4 years and this is the first time we will own one of these! Feel free to guess what it is, I will post pictures when it arrives.

Hint: We will be working outside once it arrives!!

Today I am spring cleaning our bedroom, I also got a new addition for our bedroom. Hubby was so sweet to install them last night while I was at work. I will post before and after pictures sometime this weekend!


Today I am thankful for beautiful warm weather arriving after rain and cold temps!! Thank You Lord!

Clean Bathroom

As I told you before, I just started my Spring Cleaning for the year and finally have some pictures. I started with our bathroom, as you can see it is pretty small. We moved into our home almost 2 years ago, and this is the first year that I told myself I have to get my Spring Cleaning done. It seems like such a big job to me. Once I start it does'nt seem so bad. I am trying to do one room a week, I work about 30-35 hours a week so it can be quite a challenge. I love when my husband, Kevin, come home from work and checks its all out. He loves when it is freshly cleaned, he oo's and ahh's about it and makes me feel like I got quite a lot accomplished in my short day. But, of course, he always jokes about me missing something. He keeps our marriage so full of life, fun, and so many other great things.

We only have one sink in our bathroom, and we run into lots of problems with that. Sunday mornings are the worst. It's almost the only day that we are both getting ready at the same time, and lets just say sometimes our drive to church is sorta quite. How horrible! Good thing we're going to church that should straighten us up. HA!

Does anyone else have this problem?

We just took a trip to Niagara Falls, so I wanted to do a post about our trip soon. We wanted to get away to try to get our minds off of infertility. And you know as they say, "Try to Relax."
