Couples Who Long for Children

I have been reading this book called: Moments For Couples Who Long for Children. It has a bunch of short devotionals/stories. It brings out so many feeling that I am feeling right now or have felt. I have never read anything like this, so many times when I'm reading it, I feel like she came into my thoughts and wrote them on paper. It has space in the back of the book for Private Moments, it brings out so many good points so it's nice to jot them down for encouragment on a bad day.

I had a bad weekend when it comes to dealing with infertility. I am at the point when I think about us being able to have a child, picturing how special, and what a miracle it would be it brings me to tears. If I don't control myself I could just sit down and bawl.

My heart gets so sad when I think about all the women out there going through infertility, right when I found out I was infertile I thought I was the only one going through this. Well after I came back to reality, I found so many women hurting from the same thing I am hurting from. I really want anyone to know who is hurting, struggling, or just having a bad day my heart breaks for you, I truly feel a weight on my chest when I think of all the pain this brings. I would be happy to lift you up in prayer, feel free to comment or e-mail me . I want to help in whatever way I can to anyone who is dealing with this awful thing called infertility.

I know that if and whenever we would be blessed with a child, I now, that child will be viewed as a true blessing from the Lord. And I honestly can say that if we would never have gone through this my eyes would not be as open as they are now. That is so sad to me, when I go back and read that. I know the Lord is teaching me many lessons through this all, now I need to have faith in Him. He is in control of my life, and I need to trust Him. That is a blessing to me when I see even just one lesson that I have learned through this all.

I pray that He will give me strength to do this, to keep going through this.

I pray that He will comfort you in whatever stage of infertility you are in.

Easter

So I got all my Easter Decorations out, and it seems I don't have very many. This is basically all I have in these pictures. I usually incorporate a lot of my Spring decorations with my Easter ones. Do you have lots of Easter Decorations?

I love Easter Sunday! Getting all dressed up, seeing LOTS of new people at church, celebrating our Lord and Saviour, and family time. It's always a lot more fun if I have a new outfit! We usually go to one of our parents house's after church for a celebration. It's always hard when both sides have something planned. My husband's side is very good with working around that, I am so thankful for that. We really haven't had that many issue's with that.

Do any of you have that problem?

How do you celebrate Easter?

I have been married for 3 1/2 years and I always love hearing about how other young marrieds are doing. I love being married. Yes, it has it's ups and downs but what doesn't. Most of all I love being a housewife, I love all the duties. If I could I would not work, and stay at home. I would love that! There are so many projects that I just cannot start due to my job, I guess I could, but I would be working on them for a long time, and I am very funny when it comes to unfinished projects. I love having all my housework done before the weekend, so if I'm not working we can just relax and do fun things! Not cleaning or Laundry, or for that matter, even cooking! I like to bake, but cooking is not so high up on my list. Take me to Applebee's and I'm a happy girl. I work some evenings, so I'm not always at home when my hubby comes home from work. Oh, how I would love to be. But I AM blessed with a great job, great co-workers, and excellent boss who just happens to be my uncle! So I have no cause for complaining. Though I pray, someday my dream may come true!

Niagara Falls Weekend Getaway

Niagara Falls 2009! Weekend Getaway. I am kinda sad because we ended up with like no good pictures of the Falls. Sad. Right.

While we were there I finished up my first round of Clomid. I was really lucky, I had no side effects at all. I was so worried before I started taking it, I'll say that's a huge blessing.

This was taken from inside our Hotel room, so the quality
is really bad. Sorry. As you can see it was beginning to rain.

I have never been to Niagara Falls, so my hubby and I thought it would be a great weekend getaway for us. We had such a great time, we had a Falls view Suite and we could hear the Falls when we opened our window. It was so Romantic! We had a great Restaurant in our Hotel, Starbucks, and lots of things to do within walking distance. We got there on a Thursday and the weather was beautiful, but by the weekend it was colder, rainy and foggy. So that was kind of a bummer, we couldn't see the Falls with all the fog. I think if you get a room with a Falls view it makes it so romantic, so if you are planning on going for a romantic getaway keep that in mind. My hubby was so nice, he let me go shopping a lot!! That was a highlight of my trip! I am so blessed to be able to get away on short trips with the man I love! We are also planning a weekend Getaway to Washington DC, in April. Can't Wait.
So have any of you been to Niagara Falls?
As you know I am new to blogging, so I apologize if there are some goof's. I think I posted a picture twice on my last post. Yikes. I tried to take it off but it wouldn't let me, or I just don't know how. Also, how can I make a new paragraph? When I am typing my post it lets me do different paragraphs, but when I publish it, it takes them away and puts it all in one. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Have a wonderful Saturday night!

Clean Bathroom

As I told you before, I just started my Spring Cleaning for the year and finally have some pictures. I started with our bathroom, as you can see it is pretty small. We moved into our home almost 2 years ago, and this is the first year that I told myself I have to get my Spring Cleaning done. It seems like such a big job to me. Once I start it does'nt seem so bad. I am trying to do one room a week, I work about 30-35 hours a week so it can be quite a challenge. I love when my husband, Kevin, come home from work and checks its all out. He loves when it is freshly cleaned, he oo's and ahh's about it and makes me feel like I got quite a lot accomplished in my short day. But, of course, he always jokes about me missing something. He keeps our marriage so full of life, fun, and so many other great things.

We only have one sink in our bathroom, and we run into lots of problems with that. Sunday mornings are the worst. It's almost the only day that we are both getting ready at the same time, and lets just say sometimes our drive to church is sorta quite. How horrible! Good thing we're going to church that should straighten us up. HA!
Does anyone else have this problem?
I hope you enjoyed checking out my now clean bathroom. Crazy how fast it gets dirty again!
We just took a trip to Niagara Falls, so I wanted to do a post about our trip soon. We wanted to get away to try to get our minds off of infertility. And you know as they say, "Try to Relax."

Thank You all for your your very nice, sincere, sweet comments. I am looking forward to getting to know you better, and follow your stories. I am so blessed today with wonderful strangers who go out of there way to care and pray for us! Thank You!

One More Heartbreak

Yesterday was a rough day. I got our results from our first round of Clomid and they were not good. Basically Clomid did not raise the levels it was supposed to raise. I was aware that might happen because I got really sick in the middle of my cycle, I had a high fever/Strep Throat. So I knew there was a big chance that could have messed up the cycle. But it still cannot prepare you for the disappointment. At the end of every cycle I tell myself that I will not get my hopes up for the next month, I cannot take another negative result. But it never fails at the end of the cycle I start to think well maybe it did work this time, maybe I could be pregnant. After so many months of that it really has drained me emotionally. After I found out the results I was very heartbroken once again. Later that evening once I started thinking on the positive aspects of our situation I did start to feel better. I did not break into tears every time I thought of the results. I am thankful that we do have more cycles with Clomid to try, hopefully next month I will be healthy through the whole cycle. That might make all the difference!

Spring!!

Finally! The first day of Spring has come! I cannot wait to see green grass, bright flowers, flip flops, swimsuits and feel warmth everyday. It seems every winter gets longer and longer. Especially in Ohio you never know what kind of weather you are going to get. There are so many good things that come with spring, so many good feelings. I have just started my Spring cleaning this week, I got my bathroom all done. I will post some pictures of the finished product. I love the smell of a freshly cleaned room! I had opened the window and it got that fresh air smell into the bathroom, that made it smell so much cleaner.

My husband just brought our little nephew to see me at work, what a blessing little children are. Truly a gift from God. What a blessing to have a Husband who loves you, and wants to come see me at work. That was the one good thing about having to work on a Friday night. I have the weekend off so I am very happy about that, I work at a place that is open 7 days a week. So that means working weekends and Sundays. It took me a while to adjust to that, and it it still hard sometimes. But I love my job and feel very blessed to have one.

I cannot wait to get some pictures on here, I am charging my camera at home as I'm typing. I'll get some posted soon!!

Have a Great First Day of Spring!

What do you love about Spring?

I have read lots of blogs over the past few months and have came across some amazing people. So I thought I would give it a try, I would love for you to visit my blog. Hopefully I'll be good at this!
My Husband and I have been trying to concieve for almost 3 years, it is so easy to sink in a hole and have no positivity to life. I really want this blog to be an outlet for my positive thoughts, and blessings we have everyday but do not acknowledge. We have just taken our first round of clomid, and I will go in tomorrow to find out our results. We are hoping for the best, if no success this month, we will try another.
At the end of the day the Lord has blessed me with a wonderful husband who has been the strong and positive one through all of our struggles. I have just recently realized that I have a lot more blesssing in my life than trials, and I would love to share them with you. Please feel free to comment!
