A few of my favorite things...

...I thought I would share with you some of the things that I cannot live without!

First is the Johnson's Melt Away Stress body lotion! After a hot bath, there is nothing more soothing than this lotion!! I have been using it for over a year now, it keeps my skin soft and it smells so good! When your going through infertility anything that melts away stress is a must!! :)

I always use the uplifting foam by Aquage, I apply it to my wet hair at the roots where I want some lift. I'm sure you have noticed that I love big hair!! It gives a lot of hold and works great with your blow dryer to achieve lots of lift!

I, of course, have to finish off the hairstyle with the greatest finish on earth! Aquage Beyond Shine Spray!! It is so great, but make sure not to overuse it or you will have greasy hair. Just a fine spray all over is plenty, it gives your hair that clean, fresh, just got highlights look!
This Vaseline Lip Therapy has to be the one thing that I absolutely cannot go without. If I forget to take it along anywhere I feel totally lost! Sad. Right. But there is no other lip treatment that makes my lips feel so healthy, and it gives them a little bit of shine as well. I barely ever wear lipstick, I always go with this. Anything else seems to dry my lips out very quickly. And I can buy it at Wal-Mart for like $0.99!! A definite must have for me!

I just purchased 2 of these sleep tanks from Victoria's Secret and they are worth every single penny!! They are so comfy, and extremely soft, mine have been worn a lot and they are still like new. I very quickly realized that these must be laundered first so they are clean and ready to wear.

I keep Bubble Bath by OPI on my fingernails all the time! It is a soft, sheer look that still cover up the nail. I usually do my nails 2-3 times a week, if I'm in water a lot it does wear off quicker. I love, love OPI nail polish, that is all I wear. My cousin has a Salon and she gives me a great deal on the polish. My toes are a different story, I like color on my toes. I have never liked bright color on my fingernails because you can see every little chip or smudge. I don't polish my toes nearly as much as my fingernails. I love how long OPI lasts on my toes. I would highly recommend this color and also Sweetheart.

Last, but not least, my Black Merrell's! With cold weather here, I have brought out my wonderful Merrell's! I got a tan pair for Christmas 2 years ago from my parents, and I have since bought another black pair. They are so comfortable, and so warm. They go great with jeans, they are not a dressy shoe, but for work, soccer games, etc, they are perfect. My feet stay so warm in them and I cannot even begin to tell you how comfy they actually are. They are around $90, but they are worth it. I am on the second season with mine, and they still look great. They usually even update them to make them better with each year. I wear mine all day at work, and not once do my feet hurt. I can wear them all day and still my feet feel great!!! With Christmas coming up, this would be a great recommendation for your wish list!!
I hope you have enjoyed reading about my favorite things and what I cannot live without. I would love to hear your opinions on my favorite things if you have used them before. I would also love to hear about some things that you cannot live without. I am always looking for new things to love!!

Let's Raise Some Progesterone Levels!

This post is for all ladies going through infertility who want to raise, or who NEED to raise there progesterone levels to get pregnant.

After we started our break from professional help for our infertility, I started to use this natural progesterone cream that my Mom told me about. It is from Heartland Products, Inc. I've been using this cream for about 3 months or so now, and I have been so confused on how to use it and when to use it. I had seen a major difference in my hair growth (like around my upper lip, sides of my face, etc.) and also I've been able to keep off the little amount of weight that I had lost. Before the cream that would have been impossible. I was supposed to take the cream twice a day on CD 10-28, but I would always start bleeding/spotting around CD 15. Then I was not sure if I should count that as CD1 or keep counting till CD 28. So finally today I called the toll free helpline number on the brochure I had. The lady that I spoke with was wonderful. I explained to her my whole situation, and that I was using the cream to get pregnant and raise my progesterone levels. She said that it is normal to start bleeding in the middle of your cycle for the first couple of months using the cream, because your body is getting rid of all your extra estrogen. She told me that since I am trying to get pregnant that I am supposed to use the cream starting on CD 5 and stop using the cream on CD 26. If I start to bleed very heavy in the middle of my cycle then I should quit the cream and count that as CD 1. If the bleeding is minimal I should just keep using the cream until CD 26. I also asked her that if I would get pregnant should I still take the cream? She said that it is very important to keep taking the cream, only if you use the cream prior to pregnancy, until one week prior to your due date then quit the cream. I know lots of you going through infertility have issues with your progesterone levels. I am going to try this starting now, and I could not keep this to myself. I would recommend that you visit the company's website or call the company to get more information on the product before you start using it. They have a great brochure and a wonderful hotline. I am so excited to see if this will work since I am changing the days that I am taking the cream. I was thinking that this might also be able to help some of you!! I buy the cream at a local Health food store and it costs around $20 which last me about one month. It is very inexpensive and it has helped me already with a lot of the symptoms due to having low progesterone levels. I would love to hear from you by e-mail or comment form if you have the same or similar problem with your progesterone levels. I guess we will see soon enough if this will work for me! Maybe we won't have to go to our infertility consultation after all:)!!!!!

Picture time

Pictures went good today. Other than the very cold wind we had to be in for over an hour! Here are some samples of what and where we were taking them. Stupid me didn't make sure that my camera was charged so this is the only location that I was able to get. Its in my parents back yard. I missed the most beautiful spot by the tree that is like all yellow!

By the way the shoes worked out great!

Shoes...shoes...shoes

Kohl's I love you so much. Thank you for carrying shoes that are actually comfortable and stylish. Thank You for being organized and clean. I really like to visit you. My hubby does not like it when I visit you. Hmmm...I wonder why.

Here are a few of the items that I purchased while I was visiting you. My hubby really needed new brown shoes, so I found these that I really liked in brown. He can wear shoes out so fast!!I guess its probably because he wears the same pair almost every day. I'm so glad I'm a woman!

Tomorrow afternoon we are taking a family picture with all of my family at my parents house. So we are going to wear some of my new purchases, I will make sure to fill you in on how it goes and if my purchases really are wonderful. My mom wants us all to wear Brown and white. I am really excited to see the outcome of the pictures. They will be taken outside by a beautiful tree with leaves that are turning beautifully!

6 More Months then...

Us...

Plus This...

and a whole lot of this...

starting on April 7, 2010 at 1:30pm, will hopefully get us this...

That's right!! I have officially scheduled an appointment at that "larger" fertility clinic that I had mentioned before. I was thinking that is 6 months away!! AHHH. How am I ever going to survive that. But then I also started thinking of all the fun things that we will have going on with all the Holidays coming up. Here are just a few things that I am so excited for: Hubby and my Birthday, Thanksgiving, BLACK FRIDAY, Christmas Decorating, Christmas Shopping, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years, Valentine's Day and lots more! So if I focus on all those things hopefully it will make time fly by!! I get butterflies when I think of that day. April 7, 2010. It is an Infertility Consultation. I told the lady on the phone I want the best doctor there, so I am hoping that with him and our Lord involved we will have a great chance. I know it doesn't matter who your doctor is, all that matters is if it's Gods plan. The reason that we need to wait until Spring is because hubby is a basketball referee and he has a super busy schedule (like I never see him busy), and this clinic is well over an hour away from us, so with our winter weather I'm afraid we would have to miss crucial appointments. So as hard as it is to wait until then, at least I have a date to look forward to. With infertility, the hardest part for me is not having a date to look forward to. Infertility has so many unknowns involved. It would be so much easier if we would just know when we would get pregnant or if we will ever get pregnant. I guess that's where faith comes into play. I could not wait to share this with all of you!! For us infertile women, just making an appointment like this is all we need to keep going on for a little longer. We would really covet your prayers at this time.

My heart has been so broken for all of you going through this journey, please know that you are on my heart and in my prayers.
