Amber Teething Necklace

First off I must show you a picture of Savannah's "biggest smile!" I zoomed way in so you can see how stinkin' cute it is! She now flashes me her 'biggest smile" when I bring out the camera! When did my baby get so grown up.?!!!

Our Amber teething necklace finally arrived on Saturday, and we put it on Savannah right away. Unbelievable. That's the first word that comes to mind. Within 2 hours she stopped chewing on her fingers or paci, and now almost a week later she still hasn't chewed on her fingers or paci at all. Folks let me tell you this was an all day thing. You could just tell she was miserable.

Now onto the next shocker! No pain medicine since the necklace!! We had been giving her medicine to ease the pain of and on for almost 2 weeks. It was bad.

Within two days her runny nose cleared up. I was so glad, since she had a runny nose for almost a month. And it just disappeared in what seemed like a day.

No teething fever since the necklace! I leave it on for naps, but take it off at night. She does sleep better at night, but she has gotten up around 5 once in the last week, but she went back to sleep after she got her bottle. (yes she still gets a bottle for sleepy, and I'm totally not worried about it) So I can tell that she needs the necklace! I just don't feel safe wearing it on her at night.

It is just so amazing to me. I know that she is still teething because her last molar is still not all the way through, and her top two canines are almost poking through.

These are just a few of the major things that I have noticed since the necklace. I was not paid in any way to talk about this necklace. I ended up purchasing it on Amazon and paid like $35, that was with extra shipping.  It was worth every penny. If you have a teething baby, and need relief, try the Amber teething necklace now!! It may or may not work as well for your baby as it did for Savannah, but give it a try and see!

Much happier Savannah and Momma!!!!

I have so much to blog about, and I hope I can catch up soon. We are still getting our house put back together, I will hopefully finish our last painting projects this weekend. I also have reached a HUGE goal in my life! Posts on that coming soon! ;)

I am Blessed

I love to compare pictures of Savannah. I thought it was so neat that in the above picture her hands, mouth and the way she holds her upper body are exactly alike! I think she looks like a different person! Her hair is lighter, her face has thinned out a lot and she looks like a toddler now!! What a difference a year makes!

I am so Blessed. I feel very humbled by what the Lord has given to me.

 Pregnancy.

Healthy Baby.

Loving Hubby(and he's a Wonderful Daddy).

And lots more.

When I look back at pictures of Savannah and my pregnancy it really helps me see all the Blessings I do have. I should never complain about anything again...ever!!

Amber Teething Necklace

Ladies thank you so much for your help with the teething! I want to buy one of the Amber Teething Necklaces' ASAP. I was browsing online for one, and was not quite sure where would be the best place to order one from. I saw some on Etsy, Amazon and some other private companies. I would love input on where you would recommend I purchase mine from. FAST SHIPPING is a huge plus for me! Or is there anywhere I could pick one up at? Thanks so much!!

**Thanks for your input!! I ended up ordering from Amazon. It should arrive tomorrow the 21st. I hope I will not be disappointed!

Savannah Is 19 Months Old-Need teething help!!!

Have I been busy or what! Below I am giving you a sneak peak into what we have been up to in the last couple of weeks. One project after another has been getting done around our house, and I am dying to show you the before and after shots! Here are a few shots during all the chaos!

Can anyone say "toyroom!"

No more carpet in our Kitchen and Dining Room! Yeah Baby!

Now that the projects have neared there end, I am dealing with an extremely horrible teether right now. Savannah is cutting her last two 1yr molars, as well as 3 of her Canines!!!! 5 at once is pure torture for my sweet girl...I mean waking up constantly at night even while on pain reliever, not eating well, and runny nose. I am so ready for a break. I know one is coming but I just hope it comes soon. She was working on cutting her last 2 molars for over a month now. Just this last week has been the worst. Too much pain for her. Any other Moms out there with some encouragement when it comes to teething woes? Please help!

Savannah Is 18 Months Old-August 18

Weight: 20lbs 14oz
Height: 32 1/4 inches

You are still working on those last 2 one year molars, they have been so brutal! During all the teething pain, you have started with a slight cold, and loose diapers. I would not be surprised if that comes from the teething. I think that the pain has subsided a lot these last 2 days, so I am hoping the worst is over from those 2 molars. Then we will be moving onto the Canines...yipee.. : /

You are my Beauty Queen, and have showed huge interest in Momma's Jewelry and Make Up this month. You even looped my earrings around your ears and smiled so big like you knew you were totally GLAM!

You love your pearls!

Your hair is still super curly, any moisture makes it curl even more! I adore your beautiful hair. You still keep bows in your hair really well. Love that!

You also started smiling real big when I ask you to show us your "Biggest smile" it is so cute...I would say almost the cutest thing you have done yet! I need to post a video of that!

Your index finger is your greatest asset. You are constantly pointing at everything and asking 'uts tat', and of course we answer you every time! :)

You say "Bye Bye" so clearly now, as you wave.

You love to play in our car, and pretend like you are driving. Major problem when I want to take you inside.

You still love our Chickens, we have big news about them! Post on that coming soon!

You love to sit on the potty, but haven't figured out that you are supposed to pee in it instead of just sit there and pretend that you are peeing! :)

You adore any babies, kids. I have a nephew Hans, and he is your hero! You call all little boys Hans...so cute!

You still eat hot foods horribly.

You do well in the car seat.

You love baby einstein movies.

You are just getting out of a ton of your 12 months clothes. Its nice because you will be able to finish off the Summer in them, then I can buy you lots of cute warmer clothes in the next size! #luvshopping

You are super Skinny, and tall. So it is somewhat of a challenge finding clothes that fit you to a tee!

You still have your Daddy's amazing blue eyes.

You love pointing to all of ours/your facial parts.

I have loved this stage so much. Seeing you say more words everyday is such a joy for me. I can see your little brain taking everything in, and oh how you love to mimic Momma and Daddy. We just melt each time. I had read in a baby magazine a long time ago that 18 months is when toddlers really start to pick things up, and I have seen that to be so true with you. Each day brings new things with you, and I am so thankful that I can be home to enjoy them all. Thanks to Dave Ramsey's program! :)

Well, I now have a 1 1/2 year old...hold up...what! Unreal!

I would love to hear about the cutest thing that your Toddler did around there 18th month!!!! They are so adorably cute at this stage, and can totally crack me up with some of the things they do!

Have a Great Tuesday, hard to believe I will be getting out my Fall decorations soon....cannot wait!!

Quality...Cute...Etsy! You've got to check out this deal!

Recently I was asked to review this adorable A-Line Dress and Romper.

I immediately knew this outfit was made with love. It was sewn with such precise workmanship, I can see quality in this outfit.

My little Savannah absolutely loved wearing this outfit, the buttons at the collar are made to actually open up so it is very easy to get this dress on a squirmy little toddler! I was so happy about that.

The romper totally stole my heart! It is so stinkin' adorable, and it can be worn by itself and be a major eye catcher due to all the cuteness it brings! It fit to perfection, with some room to grow as well. I am so happy that Savannah will be able to wear this outfit for quite a while.

This is a chevron a-line dress. The romper would be a separate item, but Fun Style has offered all of my friends the romper and dress for just the price of the a-line dress alone, which is $22. Now that is an amazing deal, my friends. Take advantage of this offer, and she does custom orders! A-lines can be made from any fabric, I can only imagine how darling this outfit would be in Fall colors, or even in Christmas colors!

Head on over to Fun Style and start Shopping! You must be a follower of my blog to qualify for this special deal. Make sure you let her know you are one of my friends, and she will give you this offer!

toilet love

My little 17 month old just adores the toilet, not sure if its the water inside or the fact that she knows she is not supposed to open it! Just too tempting for this toddler to pass up! And yes, the toilet was babyproofed but I guess she's not a baby anymore! She somehow opened it with the latch on!

Things that she has put in the toilet in her short life:
cracker (then she ate it)
shoe
broom
comb
rag (then she cleaned with it)

and lots, lots of close calls with other things!

Does your child adore the toilet as much as mine!?
