Savannah Is 14 Months Old-April 18

My little one is 14 Months old, I have so many emotions. I feel so very Blessed, I feel such a GREAT love for her! There are always days that I worry about her, and all the "BAD" things that could happen to her, and that is my Momma's instinct. I always try to protect her in any way that I can. I know her every detail like the back of my hand. She is mine to protect, love, and teach. I feel so Thankful to be chosen to be her Mother.

Savannah is walking/running now. She began to show a lot of interest in walking right around the first of March. She then came down with a cough, which slowed down her walking progress. By the end of March she was walking great! Now she runs from me...UH-OH!!!

Another BIG change has happened this last month. We now just lay her in her crib with her bottle, for naps and for bedtime. This just happened one day, she was not wanting to nap while I was rocking her, so I just laid her in the crib with her bottle. She fussed just a bit as I walked out, but almost immediately she settled down, and within 5 minutes she was asleep. I thought this will be just a one time thing, but we kept doing it for naps which was a success. Then we did it for Bedtime, which was also a success!!! Talk about freedom for me! I do go in a retrieve her bottle from the crib after she's asleep. I love this change.

This stage is my favorite so far. I know that the temper tantrums are starting, and the picky eating plus the teething is upon us, but I still love this stage the most. She sleeps through the night, no nursing, she can start to communicate, she is walking, she is independent, she roams the house all day just playing, she is starting to self feed, she is growing up and I love it!!!!! I liked all the stages she went through, but I LOVE the great routine we have right now!!

She sleeps 7-7 unless its a bad night of teething.

She naps 11:30-1:30 or 2:00.

She has 2 bottles a day.

She has 2 snacks a day.

She is teething badly. She now has 8 teeth, and is working on Stage 5 which are her one year molars. She is an awful teether, she gets low grade temps a lot, and she shakes and screams when the pain is bad. I recently purchased Hylands Teething Tablet, and they help a lot!! She has a huge bump where one of her molars are trying to cut through, it is brutal. About 3 weeks ago she was cutting three teeth at once, can you say awful!!!!! She was a late teether, but all of a sudden they all wanted to come in! I would love to hear from other Mom's who had hard teethers!!

She is into EVERYTHING...enough said!

She is such a Daddy's girl, she calls for Daddy non stop during the day!

She adores being on the Mower with Daddy!

She is just like her Momma, she is already lovin' the big hair!!

She loves her room.

She loves her babies!!

She gives the sweetest kisses every, I wanna tear up each time she gives me one. She also blows kissed which is Darling!! Every time I tell Hubby I love him on the phone, she will blow a kiss!!!

Thank you Lord for the Blessing you gave me when you gave me Savannah Lane! Help me be a Godly, patient, and loving Mother each and every day!!

My Little Brother Got Married

March 31, 2012 was a very special day for our Family. My younger brother got married. We welcomed an amazing woman into our Family. I now have 3 sisters, instead of 2.

The day was fabulous, everything was gorgeous, the Bride and Groom looked amazing! One thing did disappoint....my camera stopped working before the Wedding even started, I was very sad. I didn't get one picture of the Bride and Groom. I still want my Sister to make me a CD of all her pictures, so then I will have some!

I do have a few engagement pictures that are so amazing of them!!

For now, this is all you get of the Wedding...

My Brother made this Pergola!!!!! So BEAUTIFUL!!

"Praying Across America"

In less than 2 months my Brother In Law is going to embark on an amazing journey. He has been planning a trip called "Praying Across America" where he will bike from North Carolina to California to raise awareness for Prayer. I wanted to let you all know about this amazing Journey he is preparing for, in hopes that you could be a part of this Journey as well! Brad will be stopping at Churches along the way to hold prayer meetings, please go to his Website to see a full list of cities he will be stopping at along the way. If you are located close to any of these locations and would like to have him visit your Church please head on over to his Blog, his Website, or his Facebook  page and send him a message. Also, these Prayer meetings will be open for anyone of you to attend.
Below I have included the article from The Independent newspaper where Brad was featured in. It will tell you all about his upcoming Journey.
Brad Weaver isn’t exactly a circuit-riding preacher.
But this summer the local youth pastor plans to be a prayer warrior on wheels.
Weaver, 31, will stop each night of his coast-to-coast bicycle ride to hold a prayer meeting in a local church.
The goal of the ride, which departs Memorial Day weekend from Nags Head, N.C., and finishes in late July in Huntington Beach, Calif., is to encourage Christians to tap into the power of prayer.
“If we are going to change our country, prayer is going to have to be a major tool,” Weaver said.
Weaver is a youth pastor at Freedom Baptist Fellowship in Wilmot, where his father-in-law, the Rev. Dale Calloway, serves as pastor. The 1999 Massillon Christian School graduate lives in Wilmot with his wife, Tiffany, and two children, Gunnar, 4, and Isabella, 2.
The idea for Praying Across America was planted in Weaver’s mind last summer while he was relaxing during his family’s annual vacation to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Weaver, who works as a processor at Shearer’s Foods Millennium Manufacturing Plant in Massillon, said he felt convicted about the need to improve his own prayer life after reading a book titled “The Power of Prayer” by R.A. Torrey, an American pastor and evangelist during the late 1800s and early 1900s.
“People do rides to raise awareness for certain causes. I thought, ‘What better thing to do than to raise awareness for prayer,’ ” Weaver said.
The prayer meetings will consist of 20 minutes of prayer for national concerns and 20 minutes of prayer for the individual needs in each congregation. Weaver already has eight or nine meetings scheduled, including a June speaking engagement at Shiloh Baptist Church in Missouri, the church he attended as a youth. Besides holding prayer meetings, Weaver will be sharing his faith by handing out 4x6 cards that encourage others to seek a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Weaver said he’s been saturating the ride in prayer and God already has answered several requests. One of the answers came from Bob Shearer, the CEO of Shearer’s Foods, who has agreed to pay Weaver’s salary for two months while he is pedaling across the country. Weaver, who was just hoping not to lose any vacation time or seniority, admits he didn’t expect Shearer to be so gracious.
“One of the biggest things I learned was don’t pray too small,” Weaver said.
Shearer said he thinks the ride is a great idea.
“I think anytime there is a cause that is going to make something better, I try to be supportive of it,” Shearer said. “We encourage our associates to be community and spiritually-minded.”
BLESSING UPON BLESSING
God’s provision has shown up in other ways, according to Weaver.
Recently, a member of Weaver’s church stepped forward and offered to build a website to promote the ride. In addition, Raber’s Bike Shop near Millersburg — the store that Weaver believes God directed him to when he was shopping for a new bike — is donating supplies for the trip. After going to Raber’s to be fitted for a bike, a doctor offered to give Weaver free chiropractic care for several months, according to Weaver.
“God has blessed me so greatly. I have nothing to complain about,” Weaver said.
Weaver wants to raise roughly $6,000 for the trip, or roughly $100 a day for food and supplies such as gasoline for a support vehicle that will be trailing him. Weaver said he’s already made it halfway to his goal and is convinced that God will supply the rest. Lodging costs are expected to be minimal because Weaver plans to sleep in churches.
“I’m asking (churches) for a place to eat, sleep and hold a prayer meeting. I’m not necessarily asking for money,” Weaver said.
Certain days of the trip will be dedicated to charitable organizations, Weaver said, although it won’t involve any fundraising.
“The main thing is prayer,” Weaver said. “You can do all the research in the world but prayer is huge.”
Weaver is not only preparing spiritually for the journey, he’s also getting in the shape for the physical pounding that awaits him.
When the weather cooperates, Weaver has been making the 20-mile round trip ride to Shearer’s from his home in Wilmot. He also joined the Holmes County Bicycle Club and is doing 40-mile loop rides.
“It’s bike, bike, bike, bike ... I’m going to be riding 80 miles a day, five days a week,” Weaver said.
To become a sponsor for Brad Weaver’s ride across the U.S., send a check or money order to P.O. Box 1111, Massillon, 44646, or send an email to info@prayingacrossamerica.org for details. Chart the progress of Weaver’s trip and follow his travel schedule by visiting prayingacrossamerica.org.

I hope that you will make an effort to let Brad know that he has your support!! You can do so by offering a donation, liking his Facebook page, following his Blog, and most importantly by offering your Prayers!!

Thank You Lord for such amazing weather!

6. For my devotions I have been reading in Hebrews, and I find it so amazing that my Lord came to Earth as a human.. He endured all the temptations that we do. He then died on the cross for me. He is Almighty and All Powerful, but yet he chose to endure all that suffering, and all those hardships so that I can have everlasting life. What a gift. I accept that gift of Salvation, and I feel so unworthy.

Well, the Weekend is upon us and I am so ready!
