I feel blessed in so many ways, the Lord has given me so much to be thankful for. Sometimes my heart feels all fluttery at just how lucky I am to have so much. The thing that has hit me the most recently is just LOVE! I am so in Love with my husband, and I am so Thankful that the Lord has blessed me with a wonderful man who treats me so well, and is not afraid to show me he loves me.

I am also blessed to be loved by so many others!

I see heartache so much. There are so many things that we have to endure in life, my heart aches for some of the stories I have read of people's REAL lives. If you are having a horrible time right now, please think about the Blessings that are here for us to reach out and take for ourselves.

Scrapbook Fever

I have been so excited to get my scrapbooking started once again. Yesterday I got all of my stuff together, set up a little table in the living room and got ready to scrap my little heart out. I was not able to get a lot done, so I am ready to get lots accomplished before the week ends.

This is my "perfect place to be" right now. How much better can it get!

I have been working on a scrapbook of our wedding, I have a small amount of pictures because my Mom's camera got stolen. So I only had a few snapshots, but I have lots done by the Pro's. I really need to get a scanner so I can show you all!

So here is an idea of what I have and will be working on.

After the Wedding I want to do our Honeymoon, and it is going to be a big, fat book because we took lots of pictures. Before we got married I started a scrapbook of Kevin and my dating years up to our engagement, I finished it the year after we got married. Now looking at it I am so glad that I did that, it is so interesting to look at. And it gets all my pictures organized, and easily accessible. So that is why I love to scrapbook.

I realized how much of my Mom's stuff I had been using, so tomorrow I wanted to go grab a few things at our local Scrapbook store .

I wanted to get some idea from you all:

Three things you probably don't know about me!

1. I got married when I was 18!!!

2. I hate to cook! But I love to do laundry and clean!! That is usually what my days of consist of.

3. I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters!

As you can tell none of us were ready in this picture, Kevin was getting the camera ready and took a picture. Its the only one I have that you can see everyone. The 3 youngest kids are my nieces and nephew. We vacationed in Gatlinburg, TN last August and we had a great time. We had a visitor almost every night, a Black Bear!!! It was very creepy! He wanted our trash!

4 Years with the Man of My Dreams

I have been so blessed with the most wonderful Husband in the World! He treats me like a Princess every day! It's been a very short 4 years it seems, of course our marriage is far from perfect but I couldn't be happier. Here are a few things that you might not know about my Prince Charming-

4 things about Kevin that I love:

1. His caring heart

2. His beautiful blue eyes

3. His outlook on life

4. How happy He makes me

4 things that Kevin has done for me today:
1. Surprised me at my hair appointment with a dozen roses and fudge!

2. Surprised me with a beautiful card and Reese's cups (my fav)
3. Told me He Loves Me
4. Gave me a hug and a kiss




4 things that I look forward to doing with Kevin:
1. Having our 1st child
2. Growing old together
3. Someday buy our own house
4. Waking up every morning next to him



4 things that you might not know about our relationship:
1. We started dating when I was 13
2. We got married when I was 18 (he is 2 years older than I)
3. He asked me to marry him on my parents front porch
4. We had a horrible rehearsal, but the wedding turned out perfect



4 things that we have done since we've been married:
1. We got a puppy, and took him back the next day
2. We are living at our 2nd home
3. Went through infertility treatments
4. We have crossed many mountains through our marriage but God had helped us through them all!



4 things that you might not know about Kevin:
1. He is a Basketball Referee
2. He is the salesman for my Dad's business
3. He loves to play poker
4. He is super organized


4 things Kevin does to make my life easier:
1. He always has a positive outlook on life
2. He always mows the lawn
3. He takes care of all the financial stuff
4. He makes me laugh so hard sometimes!

The list could go on and on, but I wanted you to get a glimpse of the Man that makes me so happy!


Happy Anniversary Kevin! You make me so happy and I thank the Lord for blessing me with you. Thank You for loving me like you do, I could not live without you!

Pittsburgh on the 4th of July

We went to Pittsburgh, PA on Saturday and stayed the night. They had lots of festivities planned for the whole weekend, and then beautiful fireworks were scheduled for Saturday evening. We stayed at the Hilton right by the river where the fireworks were going to be set off. We were able to stay in our room to watch them, they were phenomenal.

This was taken from our hotel window around 5pm.This was right below us, people were already getting there spots on the lawn for the fireworks.

This picture was taken about an hour before the fireworks! Crazy! Right! And that was just the section right below us, there were tons more people to the right and left. No way would I go out in that mess. I was so glad that we had a wonderful view from the room, so while they were out there we were snuggled up watching a movie! That's the life!

I have never seen fireworks that were this amazing in all my life, they were shot off from a barge in the river. Beautiful!

Then on Saturday we treated ourselves to a massage. I got a 90 minute and Kevin got an hour. It was pure heaven. My husband treats me like a Queen!

After that we went to find Premanti Brothers for lunch. My sister saw them on TV for there sandwiches. So we found it, and it was not what I expected.

The sandwiches were not that great, they come with Cole slaw, french fries, potatoes, tomato and the burger. Lets just say heart attack. When I got the sandwich I was expecting pure delicious bliss. But I ended up with a sandwich that had no flavor at all, all I could taste was the Cole slaw. I only ate like half of it. So I was a little bit disappointed, but Kevin ate at one of there other locations and said it was a lot better. So maybe we just hit the lemon.

I topped off the day with a manicure, how much better can a day get!

We had such a great, relaxing weekend together. Pittsburgh was short but sweet.

Tomorrow is our 4th Wedding Anniversary! I will have a special post on the Man I Love so much!!

Today I am thankful for the hair appointment and brow wax I have tomorrow and of course my wonderful Hubby!
